The Teen Talk Blog Crew
High school students have it tough. Weeks filled with homework, reading assignments, presentations, and dozens of extracurricular activities. Unlike the other writers at Teen Talk, I am not in high school. I am actually an incoming freshman at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. My name is Grace Bagby and I am hoping to use my experiences in high school to help enlighten and guide all of you through this monumental time in your life. I was extremely involved in the fine arts department at my school so expect lots of music-related blog posts!!
Hello! My name is Gabby Femia. I’m from Girard, Ohio and I’ll be graduating high school in 2019. I’ve always enjoyed art, writing, and sports at a very young age. I am drawn to how words can open up the minds of others. I’m in love with poetry and I write my own as well after realizing the impact it has on me and my friends. The reason I wanted to be apart of a blog like this is to be a source of inspiration and to give advice to those who are in need of it. I want to be a guidance for those and help them through the reality of high school. Get ready for the scoop guys.

In high school, you are basically spending all your time figuring out who you are, what you want to do and what you want to be; whether you realize it or not. In this case, I have already found that out about myself, at least I think I have. Ever since I was little I was in love with fashion and always thought I would be a designer or something fashion related. Now, I am here to pursue my dreams in any way I can. My name is Madison Houdashelt and I am a senior at Sycamore High School. I also am the owner of Music City Chic which is a fashion blog. I started blogging to help people learn more about fashion and inspire people to go for their dreams and I hope it is working!
As a rising senior I am finding myself jumping at chances to expand my connections to the world. I am here to share my stories about transitioning from a wide-eyed freshman at Claremont High to an enthusiastically curious and open minded senior. My name is Bella Hubbard and I live in Claremont, CA. A town that lives off of organic food, hydroflasks, and the recent trends in pop or hip hop music. We are a diverse community that celebrates education as seen through the esteemed Claremomt Colleges. My passions have manifested in journalism as I am Editor-in-Chief of the Claremont High School yearbook. I am overjoyed to write about my experiences and hopefully reach someone who may need a little guidance through this unique and sometimes bewildering journey.
Hi! My name is Susie Lloyd and I am from Danville, California. I am a beach volleyball playing, pinterest loving, always down for an adventure 17 year old. I have always loved writing because for me it is easier to write my thoughts than to speak them. I love being creative, and writing is a way to create something by turning words into a work of art. I am navigating how to become a better writer, and the thought of becoming the best writer I can be excites me. I am a rising senior in high school, although I am not as put together as I thought I would be. However, I am learning that everyone in high school is trying to find themselves and who they want to be, and that it is okay to not know what is ahead of you. I am excited to blog for SeniorInspire’s Teen Talk and have the opportunity to share my thoughts on everything that I have learned outside of the classroom in high school.
High school can be a confusing time of our lives. We don’t really know who we are, and we feel as though there is never enough time to figure it out. I certainly feel that way myself, considering I am an upcoming senior with absolutely no plans on where to go to college. That’s why I am super excited to be a part of this blog – to help you and others find their place in this world. My name is Jane Parry. I am a 17 year old, volleyball and ukulele playing, giggly girl from Ohio. Writing for SeniorInspire’s Teen Talk, I hope to help you feel a little more comfortable with who you are, as well as help me find my own self. I can’t wait to see where this blog takes us!
Hi everyone! My name’s Abby, and I’m from rural Pennsylvania. Next fall I’ll be entering my senior year of high school. I play on my school’s soccer and basketball teams and am part of a number of clubs. I also play the piano, love to read, and work at an ice cream shop. Like many students, I am totally unsure of what the future holds for me and feel I have a lot left to experience. I am excited to discover and discuss a variety of subjects and share my thoughts and all I have learned with you through this blog!! I hope you will find it fun and helpful!
Hey everyone! My name is Ava Purcell, and I’m from Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am a rising senior in high school, and so excited to have my passion for writing realized in this blog! I am the editor of my school’s paper, in the midst of publishing a poetry collection, and putting together a dystopian novel – so to say I enjoy writing would be an understatement! SeniorInspire will be another amazing outlet I can’t wait to use to connect with others. High school has been a crazy ride, and now that it’s a year from being over I’d love to share the wisdom I’ve gleaned. I hope you all enjoy reading my posts as much as I’ll enjoy writing them!
Hey guys! I’m Morgan Rolley and I’m from Cortland, Ohio. I’m a freshman at Lakeview High School and I’m very enthusiastic and eager to be blogging for SeniorInspire’s Teen Talk! My passions include music (more specifically band), cheer and, of course, literature. I decided to apply to be a blogger for SeniorInspire because I want to be able to not only share my high school experience, but to connect with individuals from all around the country. My goal for this blog is to dig deep into the souls of others and to greatly impact the lives of other high schoolers. I anticipate writing pieces that you will all enjoy!
